List of Current Christmas Wishes
From: Toccoa, GA
Christmas Wish: "While getting our Christmas Tree and trimmings out of the small attic we have I noticed part of the top of the roof was covered in mold and seemed to be spreading. My husband and I are both disabled and unable to crawl around and clean it. Also I do not know how to handle mold to assure it will not come back. After seeing this we do believe this could be a contributing factor to our increased respiratory problems over the last couple years. If anyone could help with removing the mold and help identify the source and what we need to do to correct the issue would be greatly appreciated. God Bless and Merry Christmas."

Christmas Wish: A church member in Canon GA makes this wish for the lady that accompanies the music for their church. Here's the Christmas Wish: "A full used keyboard {so she can practice the worship music}. Used in good condition would be fine. This gift will be given to our Church's Music Director. Her husband, a former pastor, was forced to resign from his position as Pastor due to health reasons. He has rheumatoid arthritis with a number of complications that come with severe cases of this disease. The Music Director had to sell her baby grand piano when they moved into a small apartment. The money from the sell was used to help pay medical bills. The Clavinova would be a size she could have in the apartment and also be used with headphones to keep from disturbing the neighbors."
From: Gainesville, GA
Christmas Wish: "My Christmas wish is for my daughter. She is newly married and is due to have a baby in February. She has been very sick and is now on her feet. She and her husband are staying with us until the baby is born to save money. They just bought a used car ... and then a week later it quit working ... I would love to have it fixed for them but I financially can not afford it. My wish is that their car could be repaired and free them from yet another worry."

THE WHEEL CHAIR HE HAD FELL APART AND THE ONE HE HAS NOW I CAN'T {USE TO} TAKE HIM OUT BECAUSE IT WON'T FIT IN THE CAR ... AND HE CAN'T HOLD HIS HEAD UP IN A REGULAR WHEEL CHAIR ... I'M TRYING ALL I CAN TO GET HIM ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE IN {THE} NURSING HOME THEY SAY THEY DON'T GET THOSE ONCE THEY ENTER THE NURSING HOME ... I JUST WANT TO TAKE HIM OUT MORE BUT I CAN'T WITHOUT A DECENT CHAIR. IT WOULD REALLY BE A BLESSING IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OR JUST GIVE ME SOME INFORMATION ON HOW I COULD GET SOMEONE TO GIVE HIM ONE. THANK YOU FOR JUST READING MY WISH AND GOD BLESS YOU"

I will use whatever auto I am blessed with to be a blessing to someone else.”
My Christmas Wish is to find a dependable car that can safely take me to each of the 3 houses I now call home, to doctor appointments and to church.
Thank you WRAF for having such a big heart and hosting the WRAF My Christmas Wish, and thank you for providing a wonderful ministry of music and Christian Teaching. I’m not sure I could have made it through this year without it.”

FULFILLED by listeners in Toccoa, GA and Bowersville, GA. Thank you, and the Lord bless you!
Christmas Wish: As others, my husband has been out of work since June. Unemployment benefits have expired. Our hope is that someone could offer him a job. We live in the Abbeville, SC area. If there is someone who could help, that would be a blessing. My husband has done food service, mechanical, and architectural drafting. He can read blueprints. He also attended a tech college for engineering graphics. He realizes that with this present economy that drafting jobs are hard to find. Right now he is praying for any job that he can do. Thank you and God Bless.

Do You Have A Christmas Wish? Maybe We Can Help.
My Christmas Wish from WRAF is an opportunity to meet important needs that members of our community have at this time of the year.
Maybe you have a need that one of our listeners can help fulfill.
Here's what you need to know:
Needs should be immediate and tangible. WRAF reserves the right to decide what requests get posted on this website. Requests for financial help (paying bills, helping with medical costs, etc.) will not be accepted.
Requests for Christmas toys will not be accepted. Qualifying requests include things such as auto or home needs, food, clothing, furniture, and employment. The focus is on providing products and services - not financial gifts.
We will not post your personal information on the web site or mention those details on the radio. We may alert our listeners (over the air) that there is a particular need in order to help you meet that need, but absolutely no personal info will be given on the radio.
When someone indicates that they wish to meet your need, we will give them your name and phone number. It will then be their responsibility to contact you for more information about how they can help you.
The fine print:
- I certify that my request for help is a legitimate need.
- I understand that having my need posted or (anonymously) mentioned on the radio does not guarantee that it will be met.
- I understand that when someone contacts WRAF wishing to meet my need, WRAF will give them my phone number. It will be their responsibility to call me and determine if they can help.
- After the need has been met, I will contact WRAF and tell you how things went.
Please fill out the form below to let us know that your Christmas Wish is.
